Introduction
In
this Web quest you shall see how the great Renaissance artist and humanist,
Leonardo da Vinci, inspired many an artist to dig deeper into his imagination
to find inspiration for painting and to enhance his creative faculties. You
will be expected to demonstrate, in your project, how a few words, uttered about a method of enhancing creativity, have inspired artists for 500 years. Furthermore, you shall demonstrate how the ideas of this great man have taken flight and inspired some unusual works of art.

one but threw a sponge full of colors at the wall, it would leave a patch in
which one might see a beautiful landscape. It is probably true that one may see
all sorts of things in such a patch – that is, if one wishes to look for them –
such as human heads, different kinds of animals, battles, cliffs, the sea,
clouds or forests, and other such things;”
Ultimately, you shall realize that five hundred years ago, with this statement, Leonardo set the tone for the perception of the fourth dimension (4th dimension) in a realistic image.
